Kick start of 2013 season

This rain that has finally come to the wet side may be just what we need to get the party started!!! I have yet to bag any feathered critter so far due to the summer time weather that was lingering till today... Lets hope it will move some birds down out of the North!!!!

I agree! Its about time we get some weather. I've gone out twice and skunked both times. I've only seen maybe 20 birds in the last month...

I have been out 13 times including early goose and have only gotten 6 geese and 14 ducks so I feel you on the lack of migrating birds. It will happen soon though, I feel it in the air

Yeah Pete, I need to light a fire to get my lazy butt out on the water. As you know I am a big proponent of the "Cast & Blast" method to get my addiction under control.
More water means more opportunity around here so this weekend I'll be driftin the river with a fishin rod and the trusty 12 ga....
