Rattle and Done!

Well I missed in early season and had a comical hunt that was filled with bad shots and deer moving a mach 5. I decided to move south from the Curlew area for the late hunt. My pops and me went down to the Springdale area at my college buddy's family ranch. We have hunted this ranch a number of times with great success.
I specifically have a great apple tree that I set up at and have lately moved to rattling with some good success. Last year I took a buddy and we rattled in a nice 3 point for him after I had success in the early season. This years was successful with the same recipe. We got out late on Saturday morning after lollygagging a bit with breakfast and coffee. I was in my seat at 6:20 am and started rattling a very small set of horns that my dad shot off this very ranch about 7 years ago. I rattled three times and then this guy snuck in to take a look giving me about 70 yard shot. When I shot I knew that I pulled up a bit and I hit him high but he fell like a rock.

He was still breathing when I came up on him so I put him out of his misery. It was 7:05am. I already have him boned out and at the butcher for grinding. Needless to say the Glenlevit was flowing Saturday night. Great ending to the hunt. After *field dressing and skinning the deer and fog moving in, my dad and I decided to call it early and process my deer. Here is another shot after I moved him a bit.

Nice buck although the Springdale area is 4pt minimum, unless he has eyeguards

Springdale is the general area, but I was in 124. Anyhow, he has about three inch eyeguards you can not see. Thanks for all the replies.
