Ya the horns where extremely hard to see. Never seen a whitetail with such dark horns.
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Great job!! My grandad loved the 270 Winchester. He would hand load with hickory bullets and salt peter mixed with his powder. By the time he got to the deer it was already smoked and cured!  :chuckle:
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
