Tougher season.
« on: November 16, 2013, 09:44:10 AM »
Last year we had no trouble patterning the geese.  Nearly every set up was good and we took many geese nearly every day out.
This season, so far, is a different story.  Geese not returning to any field more then twice, often times coming off the roost with small flocks going in multiple directions.  Some flocks heading out into the wind, some going cross wind and some going with the wind.  Some days it's like a shotgun start at a golf tourny.
wx is not much different from last year.  Don't believe they are getting more pressure this year as compared to last, maybe even a bit less.
A challenge this year.  Anyone else seeing a difference this season?
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
