A day after seasons end, regret sets in.

I won't lie, I left the woods early without a buck to watch Harvin's return to the Seahawks...... In hindsight it was a terrible decision.  :bash:

Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

Deer hunting always comes first and you should know that by now :o and please don't say you passed on a fork-ed horn earlier in the season :bash:

Yesterday I decided to give it one last try, got up O-dark thirty, spent the hour drive to get to my spot, I was one of four trucks parked at the gate. I stayed out most of the day and felt bad getting back to my truck at 3:00pm, once again, empty handed. I was the last one still parked at the gate. Weanies!  :tung:

No regrets from this guy. Got in the field more this year than most, learned a lot more and will start getting ready for next year. If I have any regrets at all it would be about not doing as much scouting as I would have liked.

I put it a ridiculous amount of time in the woods this year, learned a ton of new real estate/trails and what have you, and broke my miendls in. I played cat and mouse with 3 does, before I called it a day. My season ended with a high heart rate and a smile so at least that's good.
