I count whitetail eyeguards too.  They're much more significant.  When a whitetail buck has 6" eyeguards, it's tough to not count them.

I wonder if there is a little g4 hiding back there.

I think so.    Tell ya what, it would have been hard to get a bead on this guy.  He was digging deep and she was about 4 deer lengths ahead of her, and I think you mean G5
