Ammo collection
« on: November 18, 2013, 02:40:25 PM »
My dad passed my grandpas ammo collection down to me but I have no clue what anything is worth.  I am looking for someone in the spokane area who might be willing to take a look at what I have and give me a estimate of what things might be worth.

:yeah: did they pass it on to you so you could be the first in the family to sell it off?
You must first be honest with yourself,Until then your just lying to everyone.

You may think its worthless but you sell it off and you'll always wonder,I've still got everything I got from both my grandfathers.............I ain't got any kids, but I've got a nephew,he's getting those things when I go to the hunting grounds on the otherside.I've got a couple REALLY COOL fish creels and a VERY VERY antique bait bucket in pristine condition. Are they worth anything, not really, are they worth something sentimentally, yeah you bet.I shot some .22 ammo last week that came from my grandfather,it was 40's vintage(he bought a pallet of it from the commesary in the navy),killer pristine boxes.I saved the box(didn't shoot the whole thing).I've got a big plan for a display area in my man cave in my shop.

My Dad died in 2003.

I kept everything I thought would be important to me at the time and sold some stuff..

I regret it to this day. Old sights, dies, even screws that seemed meaningless at the time are priceless to me now.
