crow hunting
« on: November 03, 2008, 06:00:17 PM »
Not sure where to post this but...
Anyone crow hunt here? I love hunting them and they are actually good to eat. I live on the west side if anyone wants togo for some sometime. I'm looking for a good spot if you know of any.

PM sent
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

I have about a 1/2 dozen decs with a hawk or owl dec and they come in fast and furious. Calling helps too when far away. When you shoot one, they dive bomb the dead one and U just keep shooting.  Lots of fun if you find a good large family/rookery/murder

I only have 3 dekes but have had as many as 50 circling the call. I have found a few areas where they head out in the mornings and back in the evenings.

crow huh, what's is taste like? needless to say when you shoot them they are nevermore, sorry can't help myself most of the time. on a funny note I got one of my friends two year old to so say nevermore when anybody asked what a crow said. the look on his aunts face was awesome. needless to say I get the stank eye a lot from her, but thats ok she's a...well you know I don't have to say it.
