Oh, the iron knee

Awesome. Best post in a real long time.

Doubt she was here.  She was repeatedly getting called out on her facebook page also for having a ghost writer

I met the Shockey family (his son wasn't there) about eight or nine years ago at the airport in Victoria. They were on their way to the RMEF banquette in I think Reno. Eva was quiet, I do not think she was hunting then, just a normal teenager. I talked with Jim and his then cameraman Cody Robbins. They were all very nice including his wife Louise who is also quite pretty.

I'm glad Eva has decided to follow in her dads footprints and join the hunting community. I would love to have my daughter want to hunt. I'm sure all of us would love to have Jim's job but that doesn't mean people should talk bad about him and his family. I for one appreciate what they do for hunting and it's future.

I love his show. He seems like the kind of guy with whom you'd like to start a hunting relationship.

Agreed. I think sometimes, people just see a guy who has a TV show and assumes that person sucks, or is not cool, or is not actually a good hunter, or whatever the case may be. The Shockeys seem like good people who put out a good show. Maybe I missed something.

I agree with that Jackelope.  That's why it is so baffling that they would go hunting with....well.....

Does anyone care that Eva was warned about this guide and his illegal tactics?  He is hunting a closed unit you guys... The a hole needs to be exposed he is bad bad bad for this sport and the future of hunting for us that enjoy doing it the right way in this state.  EVA is just as bad as Barbous in my opinion it is one thing to make money another to have standards, morals and be legal about it.  Glad that your all have your daughters following someone that is hunting closed units with a known liar and scam artist.  I have no respect for the Shockey family if this is how they do business.

I do know he was kicked out of the property on Meridian where he totally blew it for elk this year. It is a small field . He took a couple of cows and 5 bulls from a small heard. Money is the driving force not game management. The last bull was shot poorly on the first shot, gut shot the second time and left all night because it was too close to the neighbors fence. It did get up and make it over the fence. It suffered for 3 days before they found it. It was on the neighbors place. It was a battle to retrieve it.
