Does anyone care that Eva was warned about this guide and his illegal tactics?  He is hunting a closed unit you guys... The a hole needs to be exposed he is bad bad bad for this sport and the future of hunting for us that enjoy doing it the right way in this state.  EVA is just as bad as Barbous in my opinion it is one thing to make money another to have standards, morals and be legal about it.  Glad that your all have your daughters following someone that is hunting closed units with a known liar and scam artist.  I have no respect for the Shockey family if this is how they do business.   

How again do you know where they are hunting ?? Is it illegal to take pics of a closed unit now ??  I took a guy up in the toutle this year during sep..after having very little action I took him up into the high country to show him the mtn an all the elk on the flow..he took loads of pics...was that illegal

I have her and her dad on Facebook. Jim is hunting in Pakistan. Got some cool goat yesterday. I have met her she is pretty cool .

This thread is probably disturbing to you having met her. 

Personally, I wish this thread wouldn't devolve into trashy locker room talk; but not everyone was raised with class or dignity.
I just don't think it serves the H-W community well talking about an upcoming icon in the hunting world in this manner.

This is one of the most pretentious posts I have read in a while.  Lighten up!  No harm was meant, nothing truly offensive was said, it was all in fun.  I have personally met Ms. Shockey and she seems to be a pretty cool, down to earth young woman who would more than likely laugh at these posts.  I guess that not everyone was raised with a sense of humor or the ability to distinguish the difference between " trashy locker room talk" and light hearted goofing around.  None of these posts were meant as any true disrespect to her. 

   No disrepect, I'm sure she is a fine hunter, but an Icon? I'd put my money on Melissa Bachman over her any day. How the heck would her Shockey let his daughter get hooked up with Shane? Man if you were the Shockeys, and you were researching Elk Hunts on line, how could you look at Barbours website and not piss yourself while laughing so hard?? I'm just sayin!!!

dude if this eva chick is serious about huntn then she needs to hook up with HERSHEY from this very sight, she could teach eva shockey alot about women in the feild. they should make a huntn movie just following HERSHEY around in the woods, that women is HARDCORE  100% oure huntress. i bet she wouldnt put up with this barbour idiot

How do I know because she is posting that she is hunting and the pictures are not where you can hunt.  They were in Ashford every day which is not open to hunting right now.  No it is not illegal to take pictures but when you are with a guide of this class you kinda can expect that he is hunting closed areas and property that he is not allowed to be on because he really could care less as long as he can make some money from it.

I do agree pics of an area does not mean they were hunting there. Area 667 is very close to ashford and open for 3 point minimum and cows. The bigger issue is her choice of guides. Maybe after not seeeing anything all day they were just looking for some elk to view. MAYBE.
