New Tactical Light
« on: November 13, 2013, 05:52:16 PM »
Just received my tac light I ordered. Klarus XT 11. 600 Lumens. I also picked up an aggressive strike bezel for added style (its super sharp too)
I will update with how it performs.

How much did it cost, where did you get it and what kind of batteries does it take?

600 lumens is BRIGHT..... like blinding bright.  I have the Fenix TK22 and it is crazy bright.

Thanks

Johnny

Maxprotactical.com
They listed it for $79 was on clearance for $59. Also picked up batteries (18650) along with charger and extra bezels.

Wow...that's a great price for that many lumens if the light is built well.  Thanks

That's what I'm considering buying.  A good scope mounted light for the occasional night hunt.  I don't go often enough to spend hundreds on fancy stuff but for that price if its a good light I'd do.

I do believe you can get mounts for a firearm. http://www.batteryjunction.com/klarus-gun-mount-metal.html
Try searching on line.
I use mine as an accessory if I'm out in the woods hiking or hunting. Headlamps are still a go to but this tac light is there for when I need it. Also I use the heck out of it just around the house. I recently had to repair some copper pipe under the house and I used this light. Made easy work for my eyes, of course it was on the second brightness setting because the reflection of full power blinds me  :chuckle:
