finally bagged some gadwalls
« on: December 05, 2013, 01:15:57 PM »
After years of duck hunting on the wet side I finally connected on some gadwalls!   The drake is going to be sent over to willow creek taxidermy.  Had a great huntil until I made the mistake of repostioning my decoys and slipped into a belly flop.   Glad my truck was not far from the blind.

That is a very nice drake. Have you taken birds to Willow creek before? I just gave them a drake spoony yesterday.

A drake spoony is another bird I have yet to connect on.  I have a spot in my man cave reserved for a drake.

Nice bird Seth. We shoot a ton of those over here this time of year. My buddy has one mounted by John and he does do great work!

Ohh boy I see a Ringneck! Those ducks, are surprisingly one of the best damn eating birds I have ever had the joy of stirfrying! Nice Drake Gray, I been wanting one for a while now. I know some private no-hunt land where about 50 of them live, there are a few drakes in there that are jaw dropping!

Also, good choice going to John. He and Alyssa are real Masters. They will get all my birds worthy of the wall.

The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Thanks everyone for the compliments!  Seth that is a beauty!  I love the colors on a Gaddy.  L-ofalab, your man cave must look awesome with all those birds.  That Spoony will spice things up for sure.
