Let's see those SE whitetail permit bucks you folks got this year.  I imagine the hunting should be starting to get pretty good for those guys about now.

Son and I leaving tomorrow, and meeting up with a friend (Yelp on this forum) in Dayton.  We all drew late whitetail buck permits.....just doesn't get any better.  Will be there till the end...season runs through the 19th.  Need plenty of time since we usually pass on lots of smaller bucks, some fairly nice.  A quality hunt for rutting big bucks if you keep the finger off the trigger. :chuckle:

Oh man! Your just evil.  :bash: Oh' well, I've got lots of meat in the freezer and it opens up time for other things to hunt.  :chuckle: I do wish I'd have held out if not only for the boredom factor. I'm beginning to wonder if you really got a deer yourself. I never did see pics.  :chuckle:
