My position is that we should keep and improve the current location. DNR has been trying to close this community constructed campground. Please attend if you can.

Blackdog, thank you for posting.  Far too often we find out about public meetings and opportunities to give input too late for people to act.

Community input sought at Tunerville public meeting

Submit Public Comments
For those who cannot attend, presentation materials will be posted online after the public meeting here: http://1.usa.gov/1eTV7yz

Please submit comments before December 31, 2013. Public comments may be emailed to

 :twocents:
Closures of campgrounds, roads, and camping area opportunities tend to force outdoor enthusiasts (hunters, anglers, hikers, campers, etc.) into more concentrated areas which create conditions for far less enjoyable experiences and more adverse/negative perceptions of the government agencies that are closing off the public access and use opportunities.  Access points and remaining campgrounds become crowded "parking lot" areas.  Alternatives to closures should be pursued.  The DNR should keep and improve the current Tunerville Campground location.

Take advantage of this opportunity to have your voices heard.
