Northern Ducks moving in
«

With single digits most of the open water is froze over. Well yesterday I took off work early to look for geese and found some open water with 100's of ducks on it. Then late in the afternoon I saw at lease a 1000 ducks flying south. Looks like there is a big push of ducks coming down.
Going to set up on the open water today, hope they stick around and don't head out on this worm front coming.

I noticed a pair of buffs in our creek yesterday...first ove seen all season.
Also heard what sounded like thousands of geese the night before last.

No pictures but it was a great day. 4 shy of 3 limits. Only problem was they came in in large groups, so you shoot and the hole group goes. It was a grind after the large flights came, 1's, 3's and 4's after that.
