Whitetail attempt!

Well, we tried for whitetail in soggy NE Washington this weekend. No deer down, but lots of fun!





Good country. Nice weather for gore-tex. It was my son's deer hunt, but I had the .44 along in case we bumped into a cougar or a bear. No such luck. Still, we had a great weekend together. Lots of laughing in the truck, and very quiet times stalking and waiting in the woods.

We were there too and came home empty handed, felt like I was on the coast with all the rain....
