FOXPRO Wildfire2 for Christmas

I've never really tried calling Yotes. I've shot my share over the years out hunting. So I got this call for Christmas and have a few questions.
1. No where in the instructions tell how far the remote will work from the call.
2. What calls to use? Never knew a woodpecker calls in yotes. I can do a menu for preset calls.
3. It has a FOXBANG feature. Once your gun goes off it will make a preset sound. I've used calls to stop turkeys and elk after a shot. But a coyote? They run like hell once the gun goes off.
Any help would be great for this new-be. I have have lots of coyotes around and need to thin them down.

Let me see if I can go through and answer at least a couple of your questions for you

1. Most all callers will vary some of the factors are line of sight obstructions, battery condition in both the Caller and the remote.
   right off the top of my head I don't remember the design of the wildfire2 but with my Firestorm I put the antenna up and can set it out to about 60 to 80 yards away and as long as I have a pretty clear line of sight everything works extremely well. I try to set mine up off the ground so as to get a little bit better LOS. I would recommend taking your caller and remote and play with it before actually getting into a hunting situation, see how far away you can get it to respond to the remote both clear LOS and brush obstructed

2. Not sure what sounds you got so can't really say what you have will work the best.

3. FoxBang can be a blessing and a curse. I have used it when I had multiple targets and yes it did stop a couple of the yotes from running  I was using pup distress another good preset is the Coyote KiYi.  HOWEVER fox band can be triggered if you happen to bump the remote against a gunstock or branch so sensitivity should be set to low if you are going to leave foxbang on
