I have the rod and I have the set up, but I have never fished that way.   Goodluck and enjoy your day.  I hope the fish are thick and the crowds are not.

It is relaxing u can tie leaders watch the eagles and just enjoy the outside.

you can check the wdfw creel reports and get a decent idea on what they are doing.  They seem to be a little late overall, but are just starting to move in after the rain on Thursday.
