Higgin's training
« on: December 10, 2013, 12:24:23 PM »
Has anyone used Butch Higgins for their dog's training? I am getting a female lab in the spring and looking at putting her up for a couple of months with a pro. I trained my last lab myself (1/1 on JH Pass before I had to sell him ) but don't have the time for that this time around.

Looking for a pro who has a well established program with proven results.

Thanks for your help!!!

Butch is a stand up guy who won't do you wrong.

Is that Kate bred to Cynthia Tallman's National Field Trial Champion Emmitt?

Butch spent some time with my 2 1/2 year old female lab doing a tune up in August. She came back looking great and well trained. I watched him do a day long training with a lot of dogs. I was very impressed. He is firm, fare, and gentle with the dogs. I am sending my Boykin puppy to him after hunting season.  If I recall correctly he ran more dogs at the AKC hunting test in Carnation last August than anyone.
