Rossi lever action .357 Mag

I happened to find what may be an excellent plinking and close in varmint gun today.   I found a Rossi .357 Mag in a 20 inch barrel for sale.   Hopefully it groups rather than scatters hits.    I will know shortly.

Id tjos called the ” Puma”? My brother in Alaska had one but he isnt that into guns so I bought it from him 12 years ago for $150  they are really fun and accurate. Mine will even feed full wadcutter ammo

I think that Rossi is a pretty faithful reproduction of the Model 92 Winchester.  I've heard that Model 92 parts even fit!

Big 5 is where it came from and I'll let you know how I like it after the first trip to the range.

I had this rifle out for a test shoot last weekend.  The front sight is off to the left side and the rear sight is off to the right side.   I had a biggg target as I wasn't sure where the bullet would hit.  Turned out the rifle was dead on at 50 yards with open sights.   After finding that out I had the thought, "Was the barrel drilled off center?"    More news later after I stick a laser sight in the barrel.
