All my "go to" rifles are Mark V's. My personal favorite is the .340, but my .300 is a close second. Have killed many elk with it loaded with a 180 grain Barnes TTX or Nosler Partition. not a light gun, but I wouldn't call it heavy. Great rifle set with a 300 yard zero, nothing it won't put down.

Well I committed to it :tup:. I didn't realize but it has the muzzle break and Leopold rings and bases for that price. Now I need a good scope.

Are they 1in rings or 30mm???

I've got a Leupold Vari-X-III Tactical 4.5-14x40AO I just took off my .223 for sale if you're interested.  I live in Spokane.

Congrats on the new rifle as well....
