Elk 2014
« on: March 11, 2014, 04:37:24 PM »
Have one more day of work to finish fence on property I get to hunt next year. Private site on west side, I talked to the farmer, helped him build about 1200 feet of stock fence and I am welcome next Fall!!!! Get to cut wood there also.
I am a happy camper

So have you seen any elk or sign on this property while building the fence, And more importantly, Did you leave a spot for the elk to get through that fence :chuckle:

Been seeing a small herd there for years but there was no way to access it. I have seen elk there several times this year, and a few almost every morning since October. Yes there are gates, the fencing is for a wetland conservation area with multipal openings. The elk are already juming the fence and leaving a little hair.
