Idaho elk
« on: October 16, 2013, 05:13:30 PM »
I bought an otc tag for Idaho at the last minute...killed this guy opening morning.  Hunted with my dad for 4 more days and saw a ton of elk but no more shots at bulls.

Nice Looking Bull.

I got invited to go on a horseback Elk Hunt in Idaho next fall.  Don't know any details yet.  But I clicked here and first thing I saw was your Idaho Bull.  Sweet.

Shoot me a pm and give me some idea of age/ability of your sons and any other general ideas you have about a hunt...do want to camp from a road, backpack in, deer hunt as well? Rifle, Bow?...stuff like that and I can probably give you some ideas and thoughts about different units and areas for you to consider.
