Predator Hunting
« on: January 04, 2014, 12:57:06 PM »
Trying to get into some predator hunting this year, from what I've heard it sounds like the predators are taking over the deer and elk populations. Would love to help out, but I've not ever hunting them, It would be cool if some one could give some advice on where I should start looking, possibly some calls that seem to work well, Thanks, Kyle

Swanson Lake Recreation south of Creston/Wilbur might be a good place to start. As for calls, you have to try any and all calls ( sounds ) to see what gets them riled up and they comes to...
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I'm new too, just getting into it, so heed my advice with caution. But one thing I've noticed, is with how dense it is over here, and how sneaky these guys are, shotgun seems to be the way to go, unless you've got a farm or something.
