Ya outside is like a stiff polyester like material but once ya wear it an wash it it softens up.

I use my normal hunting gear and throw on these thin top and bottom I got frome bimart for like $40 total. I thinks its gamehide and it works awesome, and is definatly the most practical IMO.

I didn't want to go to the expense of getting all new cold weather gear, and already have a pair of Nat Gear white coveralls, and a nice warm reversible jacket, so I got a 'Leafy Camo" mesh lined Kill Suit to go over them in snow.  I have a yarn Ghillie Suit, in Desert Camo, but I don't like it because that yarn snags on EVERYTHING!  They make a solid cloth lined Kill Suit also, but I want to wear it over warm clothes, so I got the Mesh Lined version in XL/2XL to go over my heavy clothes.  It just came today, from Allpredatorcalls.com, so I haven't used it yet.  No snow here yet anyway!  :chuckle:

I like my game hide. Quite and water proof. I have always staid dry in it  :tup:

I decided a few years ago to get what I wanted for winter and snow hunting. This set was from Cabalas and was on sale at the time, pants, parka, and gloves to match. Canadian style and surprisingly warm, waterproof and quiet enough to fool this turkey that almost landed on my head (it never saw me).

Mine was purchased about 6 years ago and it's 3XL. As soon as I found some  in my size, I snatched it up  :whoo:

I was waiting for that.  I HATE clothing with big logos!!!  I am not going to pay to advertise for someone else plus I think they look stupid.  I know coyotes can't read and deer are color bind, I just can't stand them.  I was in Cabela's today and they have their snow camo on sale for 20-25% off.  Unfortunately once again, not the right size or some big ole stupid orange skull or predator eyes across the front.  The stuff that I really liked was just too small.  I might have to try the tyvek thing and paint my own pattern on it.  I would really like to find some good fleece snow camo.  I need to talk to my master seamstress Aunt about making me and my daughter up a set.

Fleece snow camo would be ideal. I been designing my perfect snow camo in my head. I may go that route eventually.
