We are heading back down there for my final chance to get my elk this week hopefully we get her. Anyone been having very much luck or still pretty hidden out there?

Drove down and took my dad out last saturday, we had a herd in front of us 15 minutes into the hunt but couldnt seal the deal. didnt see anything the rest of the day until about 45 minutes or so before dark and ran into a herd of 6-7 he got one of those.

All we've seen so far is a big bull. No cows yet.

Alright, way to get it done. I would say that is a good sized cow. We got one this year that was just over 200 pounds in the butcher. The elk are in the Margaret, but it sometimes takes some effort to find them.
