Fake pond

Anyone got any oppinions to the fake pond thing for hunting ducks.thinking about building one of these up on my property.

no,I think its generally black, ive seen pics but never read or talked to anyone about it.

We have tried black, but the clear worked better.  Traps the moisture from the ground and makes it look like water.  We had used 3 of the 10x50 pieces and threw field decoys on it.

My buddy and i just did the plastic tarp this morning.. it was very fun. just remember stakes to put in the ice and wind will pick it up.. We actually killed some birds over it and going back to do it again in the morning.. in heavy winds dont put full body decoys in the ice.. they will slide across it and it was a chore to retrieve them..
