Hunting/fishing plan book
« on: January 10, 2014, 07:24:50 PM »
I get very random times off from work which makes it extremely hard to plan hunts in advance. I was thinking of making a book with a section for each month with options for hunts I could do on short notice. Have most of the logistics, places, tag information etc.. in order to make it a lot easy to pick one and make it happen.  I think if you had options and information already laid out in front of you it would be easier to just pick one and do it. Anyone else ever compile something like this?

Another member on hear buys a calender every year for this very purpose.  He color correlates days with hunting season.  some days look like rainbows.... :chuckle:.  He then takes notes in the colors / days so he knows what and where he can hunt on any given day and when seasons open and close.  I raz him about it every year...but hey, it works for him.  I just grab about 15 copies of the hunting regulations and place them everywhere.  I am always within arms reach of the regs com hunting season.
