Bro in law and cousin have the Nikon coyote special in 3x9. pretty hard to beat imo.

Those Lucid products look pretty good for the price too tho

yup, I'm thinking I will be going with something in that range. Maybe a 4.5-9x. Good versatility, and can be found for a decently affordable price.

Haha they just look ugly on AR's, guess I'll have to get over that!  :'(

Thanks all for the input!

Oh you're right! Good find!

I'm gonna check out the gun show this weekend and see what it has to offer. Maybe I will find a gem. If not, I think I'll be ordering a coyote special. I like that BDC reticle...

C-Meat the price was actually better on the nikon site for the 4-12 it was only $200 But the 3x9 is cheaper because of free shipping with your recommended site.

That site was off the top of my head. I know he can find a scope cheaper than the dealer site if he shops. Might be only pennies though. I like free shipping and no sales tax.

I got a Burris Fullfield 30 European 3.5-10 riflescope on my coyote AR, and love it!  It's got the illuminated 3P#4 Edot reticle, and the red dot is great for low light/dark hunting situations.  Natchez Shooters Supply has them on closeout special now for $240 for the 3-9, and $330 for the 3.5-10.  On a dark night, you can't see the crosshair, but you can see the red dot!  I have mine mounted on a 1-piece 30mm Rock River mount.  had the gun fall over and hit the scope on rocks, and never lost zero.  Best feature for an absent-minded guy like me, the illumination shuts off after 1 hour.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

For some reason the Nikon site is no longer on sale, so that binoculars.com is actually $100 cheaper now!  :chuckle:

What's wrong with your iron sites?
Those should be millspec'd out to 200 meters, atleast... westside is usually in heavy cover where you can't even see out to 100 meters... right?

I have two Nikon m-223 3x12x42 nitroplex. No circles or dots just quick turrets out to 600 yards. Great glass a little spendy tho they are a great scope imo
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.
