He's asking about the XDS, not the XD. I have an 45 XDS and it's been at Springfield since October for a recall. I liked it when I had it for a week before it went back. If you get one, make sure it's been fixed. I guess someone had an accidental discharge.I was told Springfield fixed 4 -5 things on the pistol. You can one way if it's been back by a NEW 3rd roll pin installed on the safety grip. Or call them with the serial number and ask.

Thanks for the input guys.Yeah I meant the XD-S. I dont own any single stack pistols and am thinking i would like it. Im a big guy but have small hands (7 inches from base of palm to tip of middle finger)
