I personally know at least 4 people who have killed 2 out of the 3 animals.
I am at one with 2 Mtn goats taken.
Hope to be at 2 after this season!!!

Anyone else got or are close to getting the Washington state oil draw hat trick?
I know one member here who drew moose, goat and a pumice plain bull tag all in one year, 2008 I believe

I kinda have the hat trick.
Tatoosh goat tag - 2001
Tieton Bighorn tag - 2006
RAFFLE Moose tag - 2013
So I have all 3 WA OIL animals using my moose raffle tag but still have not drawn moose in the "general" draw.

Hey Starbailey in my opinion you got the hat trick as well like I said I drew the Mt. Goat tag back in the day when there was a 3yr. probation period my dad drew Goat tags in the same area as me in 1976 and again in 79 and shot two great goats better then mine, although at 15 I thought following in my dads foot steps with the goat I shot I couldn't have been prouder. am a meat hunter first and for most ya cant eat horn or bone  :chuckle: but don't get me wrong its nice to get the big fellas as well.

I shot my first  billy back in 84 in the Pratt river area.
Great adventure. Drew another permit in 99 and got another
Nice billy in the corral pass unit.  I am a lucky guy👍

It's a no brainer for me. Put in. With our draw it could happen at any time. I had a buddy in 2003 drew a mount Spokane any moose tag with 5 points. Points only you don't get that oppertunity. A buddy last year drew a sheep tag with 10. Luck of the draw.

nice goat Bryon!!  That used to be the only goat tag I put in for, it looks like the Naches tag doesn't cover that area now! Sucks because I know exactly where I'd go, great country.

Why would they change that??

I have always assumed they included the corral pass area in that naches tag, the way I read it and followed the direction from the discription last night, it seems corral pass is not in the hunt area.  I hope I'm wrong but that's how I read it.

Not that I would draw that permit anyways but from looking at the map in the regs corral pass isn't part of that area!

Nearly everyone puts in for all 3. You never know. Unless you only want one and only one. Odds are against you.
There are folks on this site that live in an area where there are moose on their property.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Is there a thread with peoples points on here?  I wonder who has the most and never drawn.

Sheep I'm around 15 points since I gave up on that one since the application and tag prices went up. Odds are too low and not worth wasting the money every year, in my opinion.

Hmmm....
