Small cougar down
« on: January 22, 2014, 08:01:15 PM »
Not much of a story here. She ran across the road while I was taking a buddy to try and fill his tribal tags. She ran up the hill and stopped to look back to see what I was doing. By then it was to late. She is by no means the biggest cat in the woods but she's my first.
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

Thanks coach I will look into that. She was collared by the tribe about two months ago. We got a hold of the guy who collared her and meet up with him so he could take the collar off. He just so happened to be the cousin of the guy I was with. I knew those collars were not cheap but I didn't know they where in the range of 8k. Needless to say they were happy to get it back.
