I have had access to a private farm for the last year, and I am the sole hunter on the property. The land owner called me and asked if I had been drinking beer in the blind lately and if I had seen anyone on the property.While he was out of town the warden showed up to reports of shooting and spoke to the farmers employee. Strange.

I was hunting the property sunday for rabbit, got done,  talked to the farmer, normal day. As I was leaving I was ambushed by a game warden, one I actually know quite well. He asked me what I was doing, I explained I was hunting wabbits. We chatted a bit and then told me what the mischief was all about. About a week ago the warden busted 3 men hunting in my blind, out of season, WASTED DRUNK and one of the men being a convicted FELON....with a gun.... I was blown away. All three men are going to be going through the ringer.

FINALLY SOME TRUE SCUMBAGS GOT CAUGHT. Not only were they poaching, THEY WERE TRESPASSING, DRINKING, and being all around JACKHOLES. A FELON WITH A GUN....POACHING OUR BIRDS!

Sounds like "awful" people.  Most felons aren't bad people and I bet man of you hang out with quite a few and don't know it.  Either way, this is not serious in my book.  Can we save some room in the jail for the dudes raping, killing, and domestically violating people?

I will admit not all felons are bad for life.But im glad they got caught too,these are the type of people who mess up good chances at good hunting access for the rest of us .And i hope they hold them as long as they can,take there guns ect ,ect.

Follow the case, I hate to be negative, but I bet it's a slap on the wrist deal. Not your fault or the wardens, it will boil down to the courts and the lack of spine there! I'm happy for you and the owner, warden for doing what you can, I just have lost faith in the system.
