Another stolen camera
« on: November 16, 2008, 05:59:17 PM »
Just returned from a no deer trip above Colville and went to check my camera and it was gone.I just checked on it last Tuesday and forgot to take another card with me.It had 12 pics and one was a 4x5 or5x5 blacktail as I had taken my personal camera to view pics. with.I just love all the honest people on this earth.

That is so jacked up..It almost like a guy has to have two, so one camera can constantly be watching the other one..

I feel for ya brother..I have phuckin thieves they should be shot on site with no chance for excuses for their behavior..

I lost 1800.00 buck worth of stuff out of my truck 4 days before deer hunting season THIS year, so i know the pain...God help them if we ever catch them.

I did not have it locked to a tree.I had it in what I thought was an out of the way spot east of Skykomish.I have a friend who was driving up the road and saw a vehicle near it and got the license plate number ,but I don't know what I could do with it as he didn't see him with my camera. He also said he talked to the guy and he said he was trying to hunt the late hunt.He also asked the guy if he had drawn the late hunt and the guy gave him a funny look and said he's hunted the late hunt a couple of years ago.The 448 hasn't had a late hunt for years.

It's those sorts of people that are giving the rest of us a bad name.  What ever happened to the honesty code between hunters?  I had a friend who was archery hunting last year and upon returning to camp for the morning, found that someone had stolen about 1000.00 in camp gear.

Sorry for your troubles, I had a couple bad experiences with people messing with my cameras.  But I have had a few pictures (in holes that I wouldn't expect anyone else to be, that people passed by (looking into my camera) and left them alone. But you have to padlock them, and screw em to a tree!

My guess is that it was that White Jeep Cherokee with personalized plates WD 00121 that was in the area.
