Youth Muzzleloader
« on: February 08, 2014, 08:19:01 AM »
With my daughters both completing their hunter safety training, I am thinking of getting them out next season.
Due to my own commitments, taking them out during Archery season is out, so thinking about ML season.
Who makes an affordable youth sized Washington LEGAL ML for kids ?

If you can find a Knight Wolverine they would probably work.  They are light so I wouldn't shoot more than about 90gr of powder and a 250 bullet otherwise they will kick pretty good.

Does anyone have kids (youth) that hunt with a muzzleloader?  What gun do they shoot and how do they like it?

A member on this site (who chooses to remain anonymous) has offered to give my daughter a ML, I just need to figure out how to get it from Ellensburg to Chehalis...

Whitpirate is heading to Tri Cities and back this weekend.  I would message him and see if some sort of relay can be made.

Ship it, USPS, UPS, FedEx, you can buy one from Cabela's and they'll ship it to you via UPS, no laws to prevent you from doing the same.

We forgot you could ship usps, he's going to find out how much, and I'll pay shipping.
Going to have to share some pictures of my daughter with it, she deserves it, payed attention to the instructor and read the book well enough she scored 100% on the "Hunter Safety" course. Been bugging me for a while to get her into a course, finally got an open seat within driving distance, hunting season will never be the same...
Cannot wait to call her in an elk..
