Its been a while since I loaded up the smoker so I invited a few friends over and filled the smoker with elk roast beans peppers and some brats and spuds

How do you smoke potatoes so they come out smokey and soft ?

Just baking them in there not much smoke in the foil wrapper

Yes everything will be done at 4:00 the meat got done at 2:30 its in a cooler staying warm waiting on spuds now and brats everything cooked at 250 with hickory

I try to throw some spuds in if I have room. I rub olive oil and seasoning on them and smoke away. If they don't get cooked all the way the better. Great for breakfast, potato salad or just a baked potatoes. Last in the fridg. Good luck.

I had smoked 'tatoes years ago in a restaurant in Poulsbo I think. It was at a German place. They were delish'......... nice and soft and real smokey tasting. I think they were in potato salad..... :tup:
