Any ice fishing?
« on: February 11, 2014, 08:38:36 AM »
Anyone been out ice fishing after this latest freeze? I have not heard anything about Fish Lake this year. Wonder how the marina at the south end of banks is? Hoping to get one ice fishing trip in this winter, I may have waited to long!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

The newsletter from the walleye club said fish are being caught in the Coulee City boat basin.

I Fished Fish Lake By Lake Wenatchee Before This Freeze.  There Was 6 Inches Of Ice Before The Warm Up And Break Up.  It's Got To Be Good Now.  Want To Go Back.

You Can Look At The Lake Wenatchee Info Web Site For The Live Web Can Photos.  Snow On The Lake Now And You Can See People Fishing From Tiny To Time.

There were probably 50+ guys on Fish Lake on Saturday.

I've never seen so many cars in the parking lot and people on the lake for ice fishing.

I would be careful out there on poteholes. 55 out yesterday lots of rain. 4" of snow melted in less than 24 hrs. I would think there would be standing water on top of the ice
