I run the Hankook tires exactly like you want. Good mileage, I rotate them and keep the air up. Order them from Discount Tire online and you'll save a ton of money. I bought 4, 285x70x17 10 ply tires delivered to my door for $825. I paid Les Schwab $100 to mount and balance them. I saved $500.This is my 2nd set.
Had dcs on my chevy and loved um. Deff my next choice once my used toyos are done

Me and my 2500HD have a hot date this weekend with some Moog upper ball joints and a Idler Arm.
If you do a lot of mountain roads and trash a tire how easy will it be to replace it. ?
What is your purpose for these tires? Strictly off-road? Highway that look cool? If you want tires for mud I would never buy hankooks they don't clean out at all. I just bought Goodyear duratracs for my truck before we got dumped on last weekend and I love them! I run 315/70/17 and they were right around $1400.
Simple choice between two tires. The rest is all fluff.
I really liked the original Mud-Terrain , this is the first set of KM's I have run. I had BFG All-Terrains on it last and I really liked them. The KM's are a bit noisier but I like the ride. I took it to the best alighnment place I could find. I'm tierd of wearing tires.
Yep, thats Chevy for ya!
BFG is owned by Michelin tire and they spend almost 2x as much on R&D as a percent of gross sales than thier nearest competitor... I'm going off the top of my head but i think GDY is 2.8% and Mich is 5.6% ? Thier old Mud terain tire was SO popular i wonder why they went away from that design... Thier all season wear really well and i've heard good things about the KM2's.You were smart to have yourrig aligned. Alignment, proper air pressure and rotation will extend the life of your tire a LOT.
