Yes, that's why I shoot the 39 grain blitzkings or 40 grain v-max.

I agree I use 39gr SBK check out 204ruger.com there is a ton if info on there

Hopefully soon. Built an AR upper a little while ago haven't put it to the test yet. On you tube there's a guy shooting a watermelon @ 100 yards. His reaction after the shot is awesome. The watermelon even better

Wait tell you see what it can do on animals. Just wrecks coyotes, I've never had one run off or get up after it was down and explodes small rodents. I shot a rat with mine biggest peice I could find was the tail

lol seen one hit a pigeon just a fluff of feathers. Almost like Randy Johnson's pitch when he hit one. But you could see the broken body.

Yes, that's why I shoot the 40gr V-max. The 40 grainers pelt damage isn't any more notable than the 32's, and 8 grains with that small of a bullet is a huge difference to me.
