My uncles were out last weekend and wish they had snow shoes on it was so slushy and sinking down. They wore hip boots. Been watching the temps this week. Hopefully it gets hard again. Were planning on heading up there next weekend March 1-2. Won't know until mid next week if we will go? If we do maybe we might see you on the ice? The catching was good with limits of white fillets...

DO NOT GO UNLESS IT GETS REAL COLD FOR A WHILE!!!!!!      I Went Over Today.  Not Good.  About Two Feet Of Slush Under A Crust.  I Actually Broke Through The Ice.  There Was Enough Crust To Catch Myself.
