filler

this trail cam section gets slow this time of year, so figured id throw in some pics that i havent (at least as far as i remember) posted online anywhere.  just some random stuff.  i know i love seeing peoples tcam pics, so trying to help keep this section fresh.  i feel like i should explain the last one.  its not a good pic by any means, but its one of a series of a half dozen or so crappy pics i got, that while the pic quality sucked, as a whole it shows without any doubt that a mule deer fawn was following a whitetail doe around like it was its mom.  pic was taken in an area that is 90% whitetail, but there is a small muley presence.  just thought this was a cool thing.  ive heard that its not uncommon for does to adopt other does fawns, but for a whitetail to adopt a muley seemed neat enough for me to save a couple pics of it.

cool pics.Is that 7 a brown bear?

thats just a little black bear with interesting colored guard hairs.  he probably goes 130-150lbs at the very most (as of the date of the pic).  if somebody were to kill him during the spring season they could have a really interesting rug, but from what ive been told, seems that most of that multi colored hair would be gone by fall season, and what remained would be brushed out at the tannery.  that is, unless you had a taxidermist personally do the hide, and forego much of the brushing.

Yeah,I didnt click on the pic to see it good enough from my first post. That bushnell takes nice pics.

its an x-8    they stopped making them a couple years ago.  if it wasnt for the threading being on the wrong part of the cam id keep buying them.  theyre really good cams, except for that one minor detail.  that being said, (i should prob pu tthis in pay it forward) if anybody does use these x-8 cams, i just hang my cams up high in trees now, instead of using lock boxes and all that kind of crap.. so i do have 3 bear boxes for the bushnell x-8 that are just taking up space in my house.  if anybody uses the x-8 and needs bear boxes ive got ya covered.  i wont ship em, but i drive across the state a lot so i can most likely get them to you, just pm me if you want them.
