About when does the blactail rut wind down?
The way that you wander, is the way that you choose
The day that you tarry, is the day that you lose

As you know there is no specific date every year.  About ten years ago I killed a black tail on the seventh ofdecember that was doggin a doe.  Probably was the second estrus cycle though, I'm guessing.   My buddy had a nice three point in his field a couple nights ago that was going crazy chasing a group of does around.  My guess is the does that did not get bread the first time around will be coming back into estrus around the first of dec. for a few day.  My other budy killed a big buck last year on dec 1 that he watched breed a doe.  Hope this helps answer some questions. :)

I saw two bucks pushing each other around Friday morning.  Couldn't get close enough for a shot though
