I have yet to measure it myself. I was guessing around 18. Michelle did the capping and I think she said it was shy of 18. He's an odd bear. Ears look like he should have a huge skull, left front shoulder had been shattered by a bullet years before, and he's older than dirt. But the skull was not anything near what I thought it would be when I pulled the trigger.
In that picture you can see a fold in his hair over that left shoulder. That's from the previous bullet wound. Didn't stop him from running like a bat out of a hot place. And might be the reason he stopped before going over the hill. I think he ran out of poop and had to take a breather

(my first) with very nice hair. Not the biggest I've killed by far, but one of the few I plan on mounting full body.
