I have a 4" model 94 that I bought new in 2004, I've probably put 2k or more rounds through it.  It's not picky on ammo, accurate and reliable.  The cylinder lock up is o.k. and the single action trigger is "pretty good".  In fact my only complaint is that the double action trigger is terrible, it's probably the worst I've ever pulled.  Absolutely worthless for hitting anything more than a foot away, it breaks every time and pulls the gun off target right before it fires.  Luckily grouse usually give me plenty of time for a well aimed single action shot.   My 94 is a great little revolver for hunting purposes and single action plinking and it accompanies me on every big game rifle hunt.

just shot the judge with shotshell and 45 lc..  it is a blast and fairly accurate.  wear earplugs and use 2 hands.  now I am looking for a judge in a 6 inch barrel cuz the buckshot spreads out too fast.  it would scare the crap out of a bad guy. .  I prefer stainless but will take blue.   also looking for cowboy loads.    mike w
