I didn't shoot him where the pic was, we just took him down to creek to skin him as it was cooler than up on the mountain. It was early September and in the upper 80's that day. But yes it was up the Twisp River Road where I took him.

The top picture is my 2011 Lick Creek bear. The second is the same bear. The third is my husband's bear from 2009, taken about 100 yards from where I took mine.
