Sounds like a good name for an arrow shaft.  I like it!

Mathews Z-7 Xtreme.  440g 28 draw 70# and chrono hits low 280's.  290 with 420grains.  Seems pretty good.  Plenty Fast for me. Best part is its not a bowtech! :chuckle:
Well as for the Bowtech I used to shoot a Martin but realisically i had only two good choices.  I have an actual 32 inch draw.  So I could chose from the PSE Freak or The Bowtech CPXL.  I went with the Bowtech and I love it!
A bad day out hunting is better than a good day at work!

The Mathews Z9 is a piece of pooh poop!  But the MR8 is a very nice piece of equipment.  The CPXL has more speed than both the MR8 and the Hoyt long draw, has a better wall than the Hoyt, longer A2A than the Mathews and more dead in the hand than either the Hoyt or the Mathews.

The MR8 does have an 8" brace height and the C.Matrix +LD 7.5" which is sweet for the short bow stability when you have that long of draw length.  The Carbon Matrix is almost 6.5 ounces lighter than the CPXL and the MR8 which is nice.  But that's at a cost of about $77.00 an ounce plus tax!

I'd give the edge to the CPXL only because of the grip and balance.  But I don't think you could make a wrong decision with any of them.  All three are great bows!

Someone doesn't want their short draw Hoyt to feel inadequate :'(  That would be like parking your Hyundai next to a Lamborghini.   You and your Hyundai always feel better about yourselves when you're parked beside a Yugo.  Or in this case a Z7. :chuckle:
