in the market for a camera i didnt need before today
« on: November 20, 2008, 09:54:42 PM »
well at 403am i woke up  to my car alarm going off, which has never gone off before. so i knew at that point in time some meth head was running off with everything in my car that was worth a dime, so by the time it took me to grab my scatter gun and get to my driveway was only maybe 30 sec. which by then of course they were gone. so i inventory my car and as shocked as i was everything was there, stereo, navigation thingy.... so it took me about a 5 minute phone call with the sheriff before i realized.............................................my camera with over 500 pics of animals, and two lenses was in the back seat, where the window was now laying in pieces. so looks like im getting a new camera, which sucks because i just got this one and it took me a long time to save for and talk the wife into letting me get. looks like its back to the ole cheapo and not the 40D, im so mad i cant even think straight, oh and PS, they broken into my wife too, awesome! :bash:

Insurance should pay full replacement cost. I have gone through that several times
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

I just bought Nikons D300, I'm impressed. Once I figure out all the bells and whistles I will start posting some pics here too.

the problem with the insurance is that they are saying since both the cars where broken into, even though they are on the same policy, it would be two deductibles, ive been running in circles all day with the insurance company.

Since what was stolen was not something permanently attached to your vehicle, you might check to see if this is covered under your homeowner policy with one deductible.
