Over Winter Mulie Cams
« on: March 28, 2014, 10:46:58 AM »
Just Pulled my cams last weekend, road was still closed and had to huff it allot farther than planned... but being a stubborn Scotsman I toted my 3 yr old daughter on my shoulders the whole way...  but totally worth it! saw over 200 deer, found no sheds, but got my first pics of a cat on camera! Enjoy responsibly!

He has great genetics and will be a hog this year.  He has deep forks and nice mass.

I noticed the third post first picture, that buck has a solid colored tail. It's not a white, thin and ropey tail with a black tip like usual mule deer. Has anyone else ever seen that before?

Pretty bad form to ask in the first place, then to pry.....well that is just not acceptable.  Why don't you ask for GPS coordinates?  Just enjoy the pics and if you want to find out where mule deer winter spend some time afield during the winter months.

People wonder why pictures and stories are becoming more scarce on sights like this...cause people can't just enjoy the post.

Sorry if this comes across as a thread jack..

I love the pics, thanks for sharing.

Those stripy ones are pretty common on the east slope of the Cascades, there are some that are solid dark and wide like a blacktail.  I killed one north of Cashmere that was in every way a blacktail except for geographic location.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
