Sweet looking rifle!

Thanks. I like it, too.

This is a poor photo, but it is a 6.5 Grendel with an 18" Black Hole barrel, cerakoted by Grizz Precision in Biggerhammer's Terminal Grey. It has a Mega Billet upper with mated handguard, AIM NiB bolt carrier group, Palmetto State lower and Griessele Trigger and a Killer Innovations Brake.
Thanks to Biggerhammer for the advice  and jay.sharkbait at Grizz Precision for the excellent job on the cerakote.
It never changes, but it is always different.

Great looking rifle Gramps! Yes, from the looks of it Jay..Sharkbait can lay down some Cerakote. Griz Precision has a quick turn around time, which is nice compared to quite a few others.

Here is my latest and one I plan on keeping. Palmetto State armory magpul lower that I switched out the grip with a hogue grip and added a magpul bad lever. I have a ALG ACT trigger yet to be installed. PSA upper with 16" 223 wylde stainless fluted match grade barrel with a  midwest industries 15" ssk keymod rail. Magpul mbus front and rear sights. Burris P.E.P.R. QD mount and a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 Accu-Range scope. I have only shot about 20 rounds for function. The first 5 at 50 yards were about .75" group with bulk 55gr fmj. Looking forward to dialing it in.

Nice looking rifle. Let me know if you have any 6.8 questions. I know a guy that knows a thing or two about them...

And there we have it without the bi-pod.

Nice rifle. Glad you finally got it together and are happy with it. Now show us some dead paper...

One week for the dead paper. I had to get scope risers ordered. As it is, when I open my eyes, I'm looking over the top of the scope. I want it just right before I zero at the range. No sense in having to do it all over again.

Finally got the two parts I needed back from cerakote to complete the assembly pile. I had a chance a couple evenings ago to get it put together. Tried one of the MagPul fixed stocks when I first assembled it, then I changed it out to a carbine stock. Haven't decided which I like better until I shoot it. This one has a BlackHole Weaponry 16", 8 twist , rifle length gas, .264 LBC barrel. The barrel is a lightened "Hammer Flare" contour, the barrel weighs in at 1lb 9.7oz. With the Fortis 12" Rev II handguard, it's slim, light and quick. Here when a distributor gets some of the Leupold patrol optics back in stock, I may go with one on this carbine. The Cerakote is a mix of burnt bronze and graphite black to darken it up.

Hammer, third pick, front sight folded down on top?
Love that fwd hand guard, which sling?
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

I wanted to keep it light, the front sight is a Magpul. Magpul MS3 sling and Noveske key-mod panels and hand stop.
