coweeman gates

My dad and I are going to Coweeman sometime this week, and we were wondering of the gates are open?? or should I expect to bring a good pair of hiking boots and prepare to walk alot??...if anyone knows, are they open all week?/weekdays?/ or weekends only??? thanks for any info

The ones I saw this weekend were open.   Usually stay open through muzzy elk.

the main gate for weyer. were open off of headquarters since the season opened and same coming off of rose valley road..
